It's that time again. The fall event we all look forward to every year. Please be sure to RSVP for the event by clicking "Home" above, then off to the left "more info" in the Fall Bash event box.

Fri - arrive, check-in, un-pack. The Cable will be open. Go ride if you have enough daylight. If you make it to close to dark, we are working on having a movie night in the pavilion.

Sat - wake up, shake off Fri night, go ride. The cable will be open and fully operational during the entire day, take advantage of the ERC to learn something new and not have to burn 20 gals of $3.60 fuel in the process. Raffle tickets up for sale. D-up contest and hopefully a tie up. We may even do a sound off contest with boats that are rafted up in the cove. Catered BBQ dinner, please contribute $5.00 to your plate, GCWA will absorb the remaining cost. During Dinner we plan to hold the raffle drawing.
The pavilion will close, all lights out at the pavilion at 10:30pm.

Sun - wake up - free ride, head home, head to another spot, etc - see you guys for some winter events.

**please make note of the ground rules of Bethy Creek and respect them accordingly. They have been awesome hosts for many years and we hope to keep them for years to come.

If I forgot something feel free to chime in or just chime in anywayz!

Got the catering worked out today. Same deal as last year, recommended donation is $5/plate. We appreciate your support.

It's getting closer and rooms are nearly gone, call and get yours quick.

Rain, possibly lots of it, is in the forecast.....do your dance folks!

Bethy Creek still has 4 rooms available. Don't get stuck sleeping under a tarp like Tony!

Thanks for the love....  It is the last weekend we are open for our summer season.  One week later and I am free.  Just bad timing.

Our food and Beverage manager left so I have to cover it for now.

So just to make sure it is OK to launch from the 19 bridge correct?
There'll be two dates on your tombstone/ And all your friends will read 'em/ But all that's gonna matter is that little dash between 'em...

just a heads-up on hazards out in the river.  When the lake initially filled, the river was lined on both sides with trees out to about 50-75' from the bank. Beyond that is the old river channel and all clear.

Over the years most of those trees either rotted away or fell over and drifted away.  However, there are still a few stumps along the river bank under water and with the level being down over 3 1/2 feet there's possibly more that could pose a problem if you get close to the bank.

I just heard that the river was unrideable. This is laughable. If the river is down by 4ft which means it is only 40ft deep instead of 44ft.

See you guys this weekend!

It was like 6-7 feet low after Rita and still very rideable.
