I like to go out there, since I live on the west side. Somerville is only about an hour from me. A few years ago, a friend and I were out there twice a weekend every weekend. Don't get to go any more since he was the one with the boat. Hit me up if you need an extra, I'm not shy on helping out what anything.

sounds good.  i have a new stereo to install in the boat when i get home from work over the next couple weeks then we will probably starting heading to the water in april

check the events section for more details on the Houston Watersports Complex and also Bethy Creek Resort. You're pretty much 1/2 between them both I imagine.

SETX is a private lake out past Beaumont, TX.

better yet.

I live in Kingwood, boat kept in the garage ready to go. Usually hang out on Lake Houston.

This summer has been rough due to the drought. Trailering an hour and a half to the Trinity is not something I want to do all the time. I've been thinking about checking out the LSJ but I always get nervous taking the boat to a new place.

Texmic, you should come out to the lsj, we are the almost every weekend along with olmoomba (Fred) & livetoracetowin (Mark). The best ramp for you would probably be Good Times Marina-take beltway around passed Lake Houston area exit and next exit to look for is Garret Road, turn left on Garret, go about 3 miles, sharp s-turn then good times is on the left about 1/2 mile after s turn. you have to get there early though to get good riding and it is brackish (more salty with this drought). Any one of us will be happy to show you around.

Marty, I have a few friends who live in Bayou Vista that are always looking for a ride or riders in there boat. IMO-you have access to the best spot around-Div Canal - have you been there yet?
