Actually thought about that, lol. Never followed thru. This morning the cove was blown out...if the wind is coming out of the north the cove is no good. There is another spot down by the dam that is good when the wind blows from that direction. It's about a 20-25 min ride up to the river from Duessen park.

Adam, can you give me a relatively good location description so that I can mark it this week?

It's on the river between two fields of grassClown

I know exactly where it is, I'd have to show you, it's to hard to describe.

Let me know if you have any time after work this week, and we can jump on the skis and run a marker out to it.

JJ's boat is going to be pretty crowded today.

I will call the homeowners association and ask what their take is, I imagine it will go like this "oh well find somewhere else to put in." They arent the most helpful people around.

yes , the stump field....if your going towards w. lake houston parkway from the ramp it the one that is closer to the left. It's almost left center though

Sorry, but I'll be there as well, and Terry said he was going to.

yes, you'll hit it if your pulling up a rider. if your on plane crusing thru there you probably "graze" right over the top of it.

Not just Ken all of us, if you notice I dont try anything there either. Not just for the boats sake but you can easily land on one of the stumps and break yourself.

yes - never throw tricks in that area.  if you do and you fall, the driver has the right to leave you there or drag you out before trying to get you up.
Yawn.

I just got back from kingwood and the dredging company did allow me to put in just for today.  He says they wont start dredging until tomorrow,(Sept. 26th)  They have a ton of hay bails there that they are going to bunker and make a 10 foot by 8 foot channel.  The dredging guy said  they will dredge the entire launch but the channel will only be from the launch to the point(where the sandbar jets out like 200 yards)  He said they will be working until at least November 30th.  He didnt know if it would take longer because he wasnt sure if they were going to bring someone in to build a new dock or not.  He said they could even be there till the end of the year.  This puts a damper on things since kingwood is so close to my house so I have decided to give up wakeboarding and spend more time working on my other hobbies like eating and sleeping.  (jk) But seriously, this sucks.  No more after work sessions.  If I find out anymore information I'll be sure to post.

Any mention of opening on the weekends and working during the week only...that would make more sense.

Who was doing the dredging......was it B&D waterland by any chance?

Seems like every local body of water is in trouble now.  Conroe is over 4ft low now, Kingwood ramp gone - is the Bethy ramp still in-operable?
